Biography

Kim Beckett is a seasoned early childhood educator and certified Montessori teacher, bringing three decades of experience to her practice. Since the early 1990s, Kim has dedicated her career to nurturing and educating young children across various settings. Her extensive background includes working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in diverse environments such as home daycares, preschools, and large daycare centers.

Having lived and worked in both British Columbia, Canada, and the state of Florida, Kim has successfully launched and managed a variety of childcare businesses, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and deep commitment to early childhood education. Her professional journey is enriched by her personal life as a mother to three grown children, all of whom are licensed early childhood educators, and a grandmother to six grandchildren.

Kim’s passions lie in teaching children literacy skills, developing engaging games and activities, and creating interactive circle time experiences. She firmly believes in the importance of play and child-led activities, striving to create exciting environments where children can thrive and learn happily. Additionally, Kim is dedicated to supporting parents by providing resources and guidance to help them understand and meet their child's needs.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she continues to seek out new learning opportunities, constantly updating her skills and expanding her expertise. Her love of writing has also given her the opportunity to start authoring books on the many subjects she is passionate about. Kim's holistic approach and unwavering enthusiasm make her a beloved figure in the field of early childhood education.
